Majid Bilal Khan
Manager of Just Energy Transition
Mr. Majid Bilal Khan program Manager of Just Energy Transition. Mr. Majid Bilal Khan is an environmentalist at heart and wishes to see a world free from fossil fuels. He has a Masters in Wind Engineering from Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD from the University of Massachusetts, USA, and is a Fulbright Scholar.

Ms. Qurat-ul-Ain has over 20 years of professional experience in the social sector. She has a successful track record of coordinating program implementation, monitoring and delivering technical assistance, as well as liaising with both government and private sector stakeholders. With extensive expertise in field research and survey activities, work plan development, team management, and budget compliance, Ms. Qurat-ul-Ain is well-equipped to drive successful outcomes in complex and dynamic environments. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics.

Izzah Batool has done Bachelor’s in Physics and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Energy Systems Engineering from NUST, Islamabad. Currently, she is working as Research Associate in the Indus Consortium. She is actively engaging in research and project participation focused on promoting and advocating for a Just Energy Transition.
MEAL officer Indus Consortium
Ms. Neelma Noor has 13 years of professional experience in different sectors including development and marketing sector. She has done a Master’s in Sociology and MBA in HRM. She is associated with Indus Consortium as MEAL Officer. She has worked on different positions including Project Manager, MEAL Officer, Master Trainer, and Advocacy Coordinator. She is also running her youtube channel with the good number of audience retention.
Javaid Akhtar Awan
Manager Operations Indus Consortium
Mr. Javaid Awan has done master’s in business administration with specialization in finance. He has worked in banking sector for around 14 years from 1991 to 2005 in different positions like Operational Manager, Credit Administration etc. He has worked in Doaba Foundation for 6 years and has been working in Indus Consortium since 2010. His work includes managing financial and administrative works of organization like financial planning and budgeting, accounting, and auditing.
Manager of Communications at Indus Consortium
Shahid Jillani currently serves as the Manager of Communications at Indus Consortium, bringing over 20 years of experience in reporting and feature writing. He obtained an M.A. in Journalism from Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur and a BS in IT from PIMSAT Karachi. As the Manager Communications, Shahid’s responsibilities include editing the monthly newsletter and overseeing media and corporate communications at Indus Consortium. He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Sindhi and possesses robust computer and social media skills, as well as experience conducting training on digital safety and security and inclusive journalism
Research Associate Indus Consortium
Ahmad Salal has done Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Energy Systems Engineering from NUST, Islamabad. He has been working as a Research Associate in Indus Consortium since July 2022. His areas of work includes research and advocacy around climate and energy policies in Pakistan, tracking energy financing of national and international Financial Institutes, and advocating for renewable energy acceleration in Pakistan.
